Isolation Kitchen by Mesha Tarun I'm a young, passionate Culinary Arts student at the Boma International Hospitality College and it's been a year since I implemented the idea of becoming a chef. During this time, I have learnt from great chefs with vast experience in their fields and I've pushed myself to the limits in order to perfect every dish that I attempt. Why did I become a chef, you ask? I love the idea of creating something out of nothing. I love the pressure and adrenaline of the kitchen during service and most of all, bringing people together and putting a smile on someone's face as they take that first bite of food. The Hospitality Industry has taken a nose-dive ever since the outbreak of COVID-19 and working closely with the BIHC team, we've decided to share with you easy, affordable gourmet meals you can make at home as you are in "isolation". As my mentor once told me, good food is the basis of all happiness and I believe that during this difficult time we are all facing, we need something to get our minds off the situation and spread joy to our families. Therefore, I will be presenting this Mini-pictorial Series, lasting the period of my self-quarantine.It is my hope, that by the end of this series you will have learnt something useful and will have put a smile on someone's face. What could be more spirit-lifting and satisfying than that? Stay safe, stay at home and let’s light up those stoves! ?? #IsolationKitchenbyMeshaTarun #MeshaTarun #BIHCKenya #CulinaryArts #Foodie #SelfQuarantine #MagicalKenya @bomacollege @chefmishtarun
