“Today we are very proud to see our students graduate and move to the job market. They bring to the job market great skills that are tested through their work at the Boma Hotels,” Dr. Abbas Gullet said. “We are the first African hospitality college to send students to work in America for a one-year internship with 26 students already in the US,” Dr. Abbas emphasized. Boma International Hospitality College’s goal is to provide competitive theoretical and practical courses in both culinary and management studies, nurturing interest and careers in the hospitality industry. Prof. Margaret Kobia equally commended the school for their continuous growth and urged the students to be aggressive in using the skills and knowledge attained at the school. “Go into the world with a clear vision of what you want to achieve in your first five years, your destiny is in your own hands,” Prof. Margaret Kobia, said. The Boma International Hospitality College is in partnership with the Business and Hotel Management School (BHMS) in Switzerland. Through the partnership, students are linked to internship opportunities abroad for exposure and to further polish their knowledge and skills.
