BIHC Orientation and COVID-19 Testing Week Following our update on the re-opening of our Campus for in-person learning, students and staff were required to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 Testing and Orientation Program. This 3-day exercise was conducted successfully, in partnership with E-Plus Medical Services and the Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS). In controlled numbers, students were welcomed back on campus and were taken through the do’s and don'ts while on campus during these extraordinary times. A counsellor from KRCS was also on hand to prepare the students psychologically before the testing was conducted, with emphasis on the fact that a positive COVID-19 result can be managed at home by a number of self-care routines. BIHC would like to thank E-Plus medical staff for their gentleness while conducting the testing, which in some cases has been known to be a painful experience. We also thank the students and their parents/guardians for their continued trust in us and our directives throughout the length of this pandemic. We look forward to a successful start of the in-person classes commencing Monday, 12th October 2020.
